What is so glorious or golden about this age with respect to Telangana and the people of Telangana ? Definitely not the kings, princes, their wives, palaces and extravagance which only symbolize the oppression of the poor and divide between the handful few rich and the scores of working people who actually represent the country or region.
ReplyDelete"Prince of Berar, member of the Kshatriyas caste & heir to the throne of Hyderabad" -- what a joke.
And what is the use for Telangana with all this?
Please find a better purpose and ideal to represent Telangana.
By the way,I love the history of Hyderabad, the buildings, architecture, the kings and their palaces, their stories and everything related to it. Must have visited the Golconda, Chowmahalla, Purana Haveli, King Kothi, Falaknuma, Bella Vista, Basheerbagh and scores of other palaces around the city so many times to get a sense of how it must have been back in those days.
ReplyDeleteRelived some of the historical moments with the various tales and played them in my mind to visualize how it may have been.
The above article would have made sense if it was just depicting a historical and dispassionate glimpse of the condition of Hyderabad at a certain point of time, rather than describe it as a Golden age, especially in reference to Telangana.
